On Jan 16, 2026 TCEQ required the City of Rose City public water system to issue boil water notice. The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water. TCEQ with lab test results indicate the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of today Jan 21, 2026.
